The Faculties

Industrial Engineering of SGU is supported by Lecturers who graduated from many reputable Universities, in Indonesia and overseas with strong experience in research and development with big Industries. The background of the faculties influence the quality of teaching and learning activities.


1. Tanika D Sofianti

 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanika D Sofianti, Graduated from Bachelor Program of Electrical Engineering of Universitas Pancasila, Jakarta, Indonesia in 1997. She received her Master degree on Industrial Engineering of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB, Bandung, Indonesia) in 2002. Her master thesis entitled Production Scheduling of Batch Chemical Plants using Hybrid of Genetic Algorithm and Simulated Annealing.

In 2013, she successfully completed her research about Knowledge Management in B2B Relationship under supervision of Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, Dr. Ir. Rajesri Govindaraju and Dr. Ir. Budhi Prihartono, and received her Doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB, Bandung, Indonesia). As a doctoral student, she was granted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Indonesia in 2010 a Sandwich-like program and conducted three months of research visit in Industrial Engineering Department of Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan under supervision of Prof. Dr. Engg. Hiroshi Katayama.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sofianti supported some projects of Indonesia Ministry of Industry i.e. The Information Management for Indonesian Steel Industrial Cluster in 2008, The Evaluation of Energy Consumption of Indonesia Steel and Textile Industries in 2013 and The Construction of Indonesia Plastic Industry Production Tree in 2014.

Her interests of research are in Knowledge Management, Product Service System, Talent Management System, Optimization of Production and Distribution using Genetic Algorithm, and Performance Management. Tanika has been working for Swiss German University since 2007 and now she is the Head of Industrial Engineering Department of Swiss German University, Indonesia.


2. Triarti Saraswati

TS2019Ir. Triarti Saraswati, M.Sc. graduated from Chemical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1991. She continued master degree inKatholieke Universiteit Leuven in Industrial Management. In 2006 she joined Swiss German University as part time lecturer and teaches Engineering Economy until now.  In 2010 she became permanent lecturer in Industrial Engineering Swiss German University teaching Industrial Sociology, Industrial Psychology, Engineering Economy, Industrial Ergonomics and other subject. Her research interest in Human Factors and Ergonomics, include decision making process, patient safety, health care management system, human error, road transportation safety. Ms. Triarti has been appointed as Deputy Head of Industrial Engineering Department of Swiss German University, Indonesia since 2015.


3. Setijo Awibowo
SA2019Ir Setijo Awibowo, MM, graduated from Bachelor Program of Industrial Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1984. He received his Master Degree on Magister Management from Universitas Indonesia in 1992.

Start from 2012 to April 2015, he worked in an Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company with a sustainable performance growth, as a member of Board of Management. In his position, he got a deep and strong experience in various area, such as ; accountable for IT total solution implementation, facilitate business development in the company and accountable for availability of Long Term and Yearly planning of the company.

From 2008 to 2012, Awibowo worked in a Flag Carrier Airline as a Senior Manager (VP). His assignment cover some areas such as ; prepared draft of Business Plan, Performance Management System implementation based on Balance Score Cards and intensively involved in some of the company strategic initiatives such as Initial Public Offering, Organization Evaluation & Development and also Subsidiaries Management.

He followed diverse continuing education in Strategy Execution, Internal Audit, Risk Management, IPO Preparation, Malcolm Baldrige methodology, Finance and Material Management. He was also attended selected International Courses and Training/Development Program such as ;  Kaplan & Norton Balanced Scorecard Certification Boot Camp in New Zealand and Global Customer Summit – South Asia, Executive Program, General Electric (GE) in Crotonville – USA.

Awibowo also became Speaker and Panelis in various Conference and Seminar, domestic and international. The Subjects are Strategy Management, Balance Score Card Implementation, MRO industry & business and Knowledge Management.

His interests of research are Strategy Management, Performance Management System, Risk Management, Production System and Management, and also Logistic and Material Management. Awibowo joined with Swiss German University in 2015 as permanent lecturer.


4. Aditya T Pratama

Dr. Eng. Aditya T Pratama, S.Si, MT, graduated from Bachelor Program of Physics, University of Indonesia at 2005 and received Master degree on Industrial Engineering from University of Indonesia at 2010 and earned his Doctoral Degree from Department of System Cybernetics, Hiroshima University, Japan.
He started teaching for Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Swiss German University since 2005 and handled several collaborative projects with industries such as product development with Patria Engineering, PT. Panarub Industry and Astra Otopart Div. Winteq. Several collaborative researches had been done such as XML data exchange, online metering system, product life cycle management, ERP and collaborative working. His current research interests focus on two related areas namely collaborative working in manufacturing system, and production and operation management.


5. Win Sukardi


Ir. Win Sukardi, M.Eng., MM, MBA, M.Hum. has more than 25 years of work experience. After graduated from Mechanical Engineering of Brawijaya University in 1992, he then worked at PT. Barata Indonesia as an engineer. In early 1993, he received full scholarship from Pertamina Consortium and earned a master degree from the University of Tulsa’s Petroleum Engineering in 1994, then worked in the production engineering department at Atlantic Richfield Indonesia, an oil and gas company. Win moved to BP Indonesia in year 2000, since then he worked in the supply chain management and support services area.

He joined Kangean Energy Indonesia in 2004 as Contract Coordinator and moved to Star Energy in 2006 as Procurement Manager, all are oil and gas companies. Win joined Supreme Energy, a geothermal developer, in 2008 as Sr. SCM Manager and became Vice President of Support Services in 2015, handling SCM, General Services and ICT departments. In 2019, he worked at Madagascar Oil Limited, an oil and gas company and served as Vice President of SCM and Support Services in Jakarta office. Win decided to run his own companies in early 2020 until now when he leads several companies within Gunanusa Group. He is also a trainer and consultant, especially in the area of supply chain management, project management, and leaderships.

Win also graduated from master’s degree in management and business administration from Swiss German University in 2002, and earned a master’s degree in Business Law from Business Gadjah Mada University in 2008. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in management science at the University of Brawijaya. Win has been teaching in Swiss German University since 2015 and also as part time lecturer and guest lectures in several universities. He has areas of high interest in strategic management, supply chain management, quality management, project management, and leaderships.
